Students at the Jones Resource Center in Mount Airy, North Carolina raised money by selling lemonade and potholders to buy a water buffalo for one of the Kiran Charities schools. Prior to setting up the lemonade stand the students learned about schools in India. They also learned about the Indian culture and tried their hand at making Rangoli designs and Diwali Diyas. Their study of India concluded with an Indian meal with some of the students modeling traditional Indian dress.
